The "well established" site on Bearwood Road in Smethwick will have a guide price of £475,000+ when it goes up for sale in a livestreamed auction on Thursday 6 February.

The site includes an MOT centre, vehicle repair garage and sales, also features a sales reception and waiting area, main office, tea area and toilets, with a main workshop including a three-tonne four post vehicle lift, and a rolling road.

Ian Tudor, commercial auction director at auctioneers Bond Wolfe, said the property has been operated by its current owners for around 20 years, and has a long standing motor trade connection.

"This property has been established as reputable motor trade premises for many years and benefits from an excellent catchment area for trade, including the nearby suburbs of Edgbaston and Harborne," he said.

"The garage benefits from a prominent frontage to the western side of the A4030 Bearwood Road, opposite its junction with Pearman Road, within the popular and densely populated suburb of Bearwood.

"Most of the surrounding properties are residential but the main shopping areas of Bearwood and Smethwick are in close proximity."

The main workshop building features a roller shutter, with a surfaced and gated sales forecourt and parking area, partly covered by a canopy, alongside an additional five-tonne two post lift and two three-tonne two post lifts, as well as ancillary stores, a compressor room and mezzanine storage space.

The buildings extend to approximately 4,170 sq ft and stands on a rectangular shaped site extending to about 0.2 acres.

The auction will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
