The centre of Wolverhampton is set to transformed as the third part of a city centre improvement programme has got underway.
A section of Darlington Street between Chapel Ash Island and Red Lion Street was closed to traffic on Monday morning to allow the third phase of Public Realm Improvement works to begin.
As a way of helping people understand what is happening, where it is happening, how much it is costing and when it is set to be completed, we've put this list together of information about the works.
What works are currently taking place?
The first works on Darlington Street, between Chapel Ash Island and Red Lion Street, started on January 20 and are expected to last for around six months, subject to weather conditions, and finish on July 18.
They will involve excavation and installation of new paving on north and south footways.
What diversions are in place for motorists?
