The Community Kitchen from the college's training restaurant, Bistro at B63, opened it's mini food van on Somers Square on January 20 to help brighten people's day.

The term Blue Monday was coined by travel company Sky Travel, describing the day as the 'most depressing' of the year following the joy of Christmas and New Year's celebrations.

The gesture of goodwill saw fresh, hot food, like chilli con carne and bread rolls, served from 10.30am to anyone who wanted a bite to eat or a little pick-me-up.
