Man, 40, arrested over Halesowen 'road rage' incident which left man in hospital

Police rushed to the scene of Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, at around 8.30am on Monday (January 20) to reports of a collision.

On arrival, officers discovered a man who had allegedly been assaulted in a suspected road rage incident. He was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

A 40-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of wounding. He remains in police custody for questioning.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a collision on Mucklow Hill, Halesowen at around 8.30am yesterday morning (January 20).

"A man was assaulted in a suspected road rage incident. He was taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody for questioning."

West Midlands Police has now launched an appeal for information, asking anyone with information to get in touch via the 101 number, or the Live Chat service on their website, quoting log number 20/118891/25.
