Cloned car among four vehicles seized by Dudley police during patrols

Officers seized four vehicles including a cloned car which was spotted by a patrol team.

The officers from Brierley Hill saw the cloned vehicle during their routine patrols in the town and checks revealed it had no MoT, tax or insurance.

They also seized a further three vehicles for a variety of driving offences including a vehicle being driven over the speed limit in the Dudley area. 

The driver was stopped and was found to be driving whilst disqualified. Officers confiscated the vehicle.

Officers also recovered a stolen bike in the Cradley area.

West Midlands Police said other action in the borough has included the stepping up of traffic patrols in Halesowen on the lookout for inconsiderate driving. 

In addition the neighbourhood policing team set up a crime prevention stall and has been at the Farmfoods store in Halesowen Road.
