A449 van driver threw items at Staffordshire and tested positive for cannabis
A driver was left regretting his decision to throw items at traffic police in Staffordshire after he was stopped and arrested for a positive drug test.

The driver of the blue van was stopped on the A449 near Coven by officers from Staffordshire Police Road Crime Team after throwing items out his window while they were conducting speed checks.
The driver was given a drug test at the site and was found to have tested positive for cannabis, so was arrested at the scene.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "If you're going to throw items out of your window at police officers conducting speed checks on the A449 in Coven, better make sure you are not drug driving.
"This driver tested positive for cannabis and was arrested."
