Driver in Canock left with nasty shock as police discover his was stolen last year
A driver in Cannock was left with a nasty shock after their vehicle was seized by police after being found to have been stolen.

Members of Staffordshire Police Road Harm Prevention team seized the Land Rover TD5 on Saturday after an investigation which found the van had been stolen from Leicester in 2024.
Following the seizure in Cannock, the force has reminded all drivers to do the necessary checks before buying a car to ensure it was not stolen.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police Road Harm Prevention team said: "Our skill and expertise continues in identifying and recovering stolen vehicles.
"This one was stolen in Leicester in 2024 recovered in the Cannock area.
"Unfortunately, another innocent purchaser loses out.
"Please do all the checks you can before buying. Even if it means paying."
