Staffordshire pensioner dies after crash with unmarked police car
A woman in her 80s has died after a crash with an unmarked police car in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire Police said.

An police Skoda Octavia, which was using its blue lights, collided with a red Nissan Micra on Park Hall Road, near to the junction with Hulme Road, at around 3.50pm on December 5.
The force said the driver of the Nissan, an elderly woman, was readmitted to hospital on December 16 and died nine days later.
A police statement added that specially-trained officers have been supporting the woman’s family.
The force has made a re-referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) following the woman’s death.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call 101, quoting incident 404 of December 5.
