The business - Cuts and Fades - is at the bottom floor of the three story building where the fire occurred on Monday (January 13) evening.
The director of the firm, Suraj, who did not want to give his second name, said he heard about the fire late on Monday and rushed down to check what had happened.
Suraj has been unable to open his business, claims nobody lives in the flats above his shop and now fears a loss of business as clients divert to other barbers to get their trim.
Speaking on the incident, Suraj, 35, said: "I came straight down when I heard about happened. We don't know what causes it but there's no electric or gas in the two properties above the shop and nobody lives in them.
"It's difficult when things like this happen because it affects business, we have to cancel appointments and can lose clients who need to book elsewhere and potentially remain with their new barber.
"We're just going to have to wait and see what the fire department says and go from there."
