Man left with 'potentially serious injuries' after car hits wall in Halesowen

A man has been left with 'potentially serious injuries' after a car collided with a building in Halesowen.

Emergency services teams rushed to the scene of Mucklow Hill, Halesowen at around 8.44am today to reports of a vehicle crashing into a building. 

One ambulance, a paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, a critical care paramedic and the West Midlands Ambulance's Hazardous Area Response team attended the scene, where on arrival they discovered the vehicle which had come off the road and collided into the building. 

Medical teams also discovered a man who was treated for potentially serious injuries before conveying him to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley. 

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of an RTC on Mucklow Hill, Halesowen at 8.44am.

"We sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer, a MERIT trauma doctor a critical care paramedic and our Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene where,  on arrival, crews found the car had come off the road and collided with a building. 

"A man was treated for potentially serious injuries before conveying him to Russells Hall Hospital."

West Midlands Police also attended the scene, saying that the man's injuries were 'not believed to be life-threatening'.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Mucklow Hill, Halesowen, at around 8.45am this morning after a vehicle hit a building.

"The driver, a man, was given treatment at the scene and taken to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
