The price of a Greggs sausage roll has increased seven times since 2016, when it cost 85p.

The last price increase was just six months ago when the chain upped the price of the popular pastry by 5p, from £1.20 to £1.25 - and though it might sound like nothing, the pennies certainly add up.

It's not just the sausage rolls that have gone up in price, but the coffee and doughnuts too. A regular coffee has increased by 10p - from £1.60 to £1.70.
