'A number of casualties' following multi-vehicle collision in Walsall

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were called to the scene at 9.30am today at the junction of Bradford Street and Vicarage Place off Wednesbury Road in Walsall.
A spokesperson for WMAS said they are assessing 'a number of casualties'.
A statement read: "Two ambulances are currently at the scene of a multi-vehicle collision at the junction of Bradford Street and Vicarage Place, Walsall after receiving a 999 call at 9.30am. A number of casualties are being assessed.
West Midlands Roads reported the incident at around 10am today.
The collision has blocked the road with National Express bus services 11/A, 34 and 37 diverted to Colmore Road and Corporation Street to Walsall.
Services 11/A, 34 and 37 are now using Tasker Street and Midland Street from Walsall.
AA route planner shows slow traffic at the roundabout between Wednesbury Road and Bradford Street, with slow moving traffic on both roads as well as the adjoining Vicarage Place.
