Woman driven at and assaulted in Birmingham city centre
Police are investigating after a woman was deliberately driven at and assaulted in Birmingham.
It happened in Wharfside Street in the city centre at just after midnight on Thursday, January 2.
A fight involving a number of people broke out in a hotel reception.
Shortly after, a woman was deliberately driven at and then assaulted.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "A man in his 20s has already been arrested on suspicion of assault, but we are looking to talk to the woman who was attacked to make sure she is ok.
"We know there was a group of people in the area when the assault happened, so we are urging anyone who saw what happened or knows the people involved to get in touch with us."
