Police arrest Wolverhampton man wanted in connection with attempted abduction of three-year-old child
West Midlands Police have arrested a man in connection with the attempted abduction of a three-year-old child.

Police investigators have been holding enquiries into the attempted abduction of a three-year-old girl who was with an older relative in Leicester Street, Wolverhampton, at around 5.15pm on Thursday evening.
Now, West Midlands Police have announced that a 37-year-old man from Wolverhampton has been arrested in relation to the attempted abduction.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Thankfully, the child was not injured, with police continuing to offer support to her and her family.
Detective inspector Nicola Pestel, at Wolverhampton CID, said: "We've had officers from across our local teams working hard on this investigation.
"We've been following a number of lines of enquiry and this arrest is a significant step forward.
"We fully understand the concerns this will have caused but we do believe it is an isolated incident."
