Drivers warned of lengthy delays after 'traffic incident' causes lane closure on M5 north link to M6 south
Motorists have been warned of lengthy delays after one lane on a motorway link road has closed due to an incident.

Delays of around 30 minutes are being reported following a 'traffic incident' on the M5 north link.
The incident was reported at around 10.46am on Saturday, with a lane of the busy M5 Junction 8, being closed at its link road to the M6 South.
Around 30 minutes of delays are being reported, with roads watchdog group, West Midlands Roads, warning of 'major distruption'.
The group said on X: "M5 north link to M6 south, Lane closure.
"Traffic incident. Delays of around 30+ minutes."
It is unknown as of yet the severity of the incident, with emergency services being approached for more information.
