West Midlands Police have confirmed that the Section 60, which had been in place since Tuesday (January 7) between Little Bloxwich, Willenhall, and The Delves, was lifted after 10pm on Wednesday night (Jan 8).
The Section 60, which allows West Midlands Police officers to stop and search people without the need to have reasonable grounds, was put in place following an attack on a man on Pool Street on Monday afternoon.
The man had reported to hospital with stab injuries and has remained in hospital with his condition described as potentially life-changing.
Five men were arrested following the incident on suspicion of attempted murder, with two men, both aged 21 remaining in custody, while three other men, two aged 25 and a 20-year-old, are on bail with strict conditions while enquiries continue.
The Section 60 was then extended until 10pm on Wednesday after another incident on Tuesday which saw a group of men with baseball bats attack two other men on West Bromwich Street and leave the men with injuries which were not believed to be serious.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We can now confirm that the Section 60 in place in Walsall was lifted on Wednesday evening at 10pm."
