Petition to save Wolverhampton Speedway continues to attract signatures as search for new home continues
A petition set up to highlight the plight of Wolverhampton Speedway and the desire for fans to keep it alive has continued to attract signatures.
The Change.org petition was started in April 2023 by supporter Chris Adams following news that Monmore Green owners Entain were forcing the team out of it long-term home.
He wrote: "Wolverhampton speedway has been thriving in the city for nearly 100 years and the landlord of the stadium will not extend the lease and no plans to another venue planned by the council.
"The people deserve better for the sport they love."
