In pictures: Jailed Dudley builder's clients' gardens and homes left in shoddy state after he conned them out of thousands
Here are the first pictures of the state a part time darts player and builder from Dudley left clients' homes in while running a gardening and landscaping business.
Kevin Bambrick, aged 36, was jailed at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday for fraudulent trading in a case brought by Dudley Council.
The council has released pictures used in court which shows the state he left the homes and gardens of clients in.
In one case, homeowner Fatima Mohammed from Rowley Regis handed Bambrick over £34,000 to fix a bathroom, kitchen and faulty boiler but far from doing a professional job, the court heard Bambrick left her home "In a state that rendered it uninhabitable."
When he told her it was safe to turn the boiler on, water flooded through the ceiling.
She had to take out a further £15,000 for repairs to the kitchen, the floorboards and joists of the property and have a new bathroom fitted.
