Flood alerts and warnings remain in place for several parts of the region following heavy rain earlier this week.
The Environment Agency said it expects the level of the River Severn to rise in coming days, with Stourport also on alert.
Posting on social media it said: "We're expecting to see levels rise on the River Severn over the next few days. So, we're deploying the flood barriers in Frankwell, Shrewsbury and Bewdley, Worcestershire."
Their latest flood alert was posted at 1.40pm today (Thursday).
It says: "River levels are rising at the Bewdley river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of roads and farmland is expected.
"We expect flooding to affect low lying land and roads adjacent the river from Highley to Tewkesbury.
" Locations affected are Stourport, Holt Fleet, Worcester, Kempsey, Severn Stoke and Upton upon Severn. Install property level protection if required."
The message added Bewdley is expected to peak between a level of 3.7m to 4.1m on Saturday morning, with further rainfall expected over the next 48 hours.
Yesterday, home owners affected by flooding were urged by Worcestershire County Council to lodge applications for recovery grants.
