Touching floral tributes left for Staffordshire father as woman due to appear in court accused of his murder on Christmas Day

More tributes have been left at the scene where a Norton Canes man was tragically killed on Christmas morning.

Father-of-six, Louis Price, 31, died at an Elm Road address in Norton Canes after being found in cardiac arrest at around 3.25am on Christmas morning. 

Kirsty Carless, also known as Kirsty Cribb, 33, from Cannock, was arrested shortly after the incident on suspicion of murder and later charged, appearing at Newcastle-under-Lyme Magistrates Court on Saturday. 

She is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court today (Tuesday).

Now, more floral tributes and heartfelt messages have been left at the scene, paying respect to the man and his devastated family. 

Among the tributes are a number of flowers left by the Louis' close family members, including his grandad, who remembers his grandson's passion for fishing.

Louis' granddad wrote: "Sleep well, my grandson. I hope the fishing is good in heaven. All my love. Grandad."

The father-of-six was a passionate fisherman and Aston Villa supporter and was respected around his local community as a 'kind and loving' person. 

Another tribute, this time left by Louis' mother and father, said: "Rip our boy. Love you always. Mom and Dad."

Following his death, Louis' family paid tribute to him, remembering his passions and his positive energy. 

In a tribute released by Staffordshire Police, his family said: "He was a well-known member of the community, always had a smile on his face and brought a positive energy to anywhere he went.

“He always had time for anyone and would help anyone he could. Louis was a devoted fisherman, he had a passion for fishing and regularly went away on trips with friends and family.

"He loved football, he played for a team and was a lifelong supporter of Aston Villa.

"As a family, we are devastated at losing Louis. Life will never be the same without him, he leaves a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him. 

"Christmas is a time we have always spent together as a family, to lose Louis at this time is even harder.

"Louis leaves behind his Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister, along with his six children. 

"He has four daughters and two sons who he loved dearly. Louis had a big heart, he loved those closest to him."
