A life-size nativity scene has been unveiled at a Shropshire landmark.

The festive scene has been created by the new owner of the Halfway House on The Wrekin, the Yellow Ribbon Community Chaplaincy, to celebrate its first Christmas at the café and community centre.
The nativity scene halfway up the famous hill near Wellington was officially launched by Telford & Wrekin Council cabinet member for leisure, tourism, culture and the arts, Councillor Angela McClements.
The nativity scene was built by Leo and Maureen Horton of Loco’s Circus who hosted a circus skills workshop last Saturday, and will be on show until the new year.
A festive sing-along around the Christmas tree followed the workshop, as well as a magic show.
Councillor Angela McClements said: "It’s a truly magical experience so we hope people will come along to see it and to join in some fantastic activities.
"This is the first Christmas for the Yellow Ribbon Community at the Halfway House, which has been a treasured and loved iconic building by the Wellington community and residents of Telford and Wrekin over many years."
