Charlotte Humphreys-Jones and Paige Jones from Harry Jones Company made a visit to New Cross Hospital on Friday to deliver 100 gifts, 50 each for boys and girls, which had been raised from donations made at Winterland Wolverhampton.

Local event management business Harry Jones Company is the firm behind the new Christmas experience on Market Square and has been helping to raise much-needed funds for New Cross Hospital.

Visitors to Winterland were able to give to the hospital's charity fund until Christmas Eve by donating cash via a dedicated collection box at Santa's Grotto.

Both Charlotte and Paige said they were delighted to launch the campaign as they delivered the gifts.

Charlotte said: "We hope that we can help bring a little happiness to some of the children who may be missing out on Christmas festivities this year."

Paige said: "We hope that families enjoying the Wonderland experience can give whatever they can towards the hospital's charitable fund."

Winterland Wolverhampton will be running on Market Square until January 5.
