New salon about realising a dream for Staffordshire beautician
The days are counting down for an eyelash technician as she gets ready to realise a dream of opening up her first proper salon.

Georgia Runham from Cheslyn Hay has been making the final preparations and getting in the staff to help open her new salon Georgia Grace in January.
The 20-year-old has been working since she left sixth form in 2020 to learn her craft as an eyelash technician and, after serving an apprenticeship and running her own mobile businesses, has received the keys to her own salon on North Street in Cannock.
She said that she had always wanted to run her own business and said that it had been a long process to getting to owning her own salon.
She said: "At school I was always average at core subjects, but my favourite subject was art, which was also the subject I excelled in, getting a 9 at GGSE.
"I loved being creative and making my visions come to life and this was when I knew a 9-5 office job wouldn't be the job for me.
"I always had an interest in lashes and making people feel beautiful so I took a lash course at 15-years-old which was the best thing I ever did.
"At this point in my life, I didn't realise how much impact completing this course would have on my life."
Ms Runham said she had found that she didn't enjoy working for other people and decided to take the plunge and run her own business, starting out from home and gradually building her way up.
She said that the whole experience had taught her that she could do it and said that she hoped she could inspire people to follow their dreams.
She said: "I started out working from home out of a spare bedroom, then I rented a room in someone's salon before I converted my garage at home into a salon.
"I outgrew that pretty fast and realised it was far too small for what I needed as my business took off in 2022, so that's what's pushed me to get in and run my own salon.
"I could never have imagined years ago that I would be running my own salon, but I'm really looking forward to it as I've been working hard for about five years.
"What I would say to people is that you don't have to follow the stereotypical route through school, sixth form and university and you can follow your dreams."
