Walsall man charged with drug offence after police find large amounts of crack cocaine and cash in raid

A man has been charged with drug supply offences after police found cash and a "large amount" of crack cocaine in a raid in Bloxwich.

Jayden Gordon of Walsall has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possessing criminal property and resisting a police officer.

It follows a raid by Staffordshire Police on Tuesday of a house in Bloxwich which uncovered a large amount of crack cocaine and £26,756 in cash.

Gordon, 21, of Newhome Way in Bloxwich, was set to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme today (December 18).

A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Since we launched our serious organised crime crackdown in May last year, we have arrested more than 1,000 people suspected of drug and weapon offences.
