Man arrested for carrying 'large quantity of Class A drugs and knife' in Walsall
A suspected drug dealer was arrested in Walsall after a failed attempt to escape police.

The male was arrested within an hour of the West Midlands Police Protect Guardian team took to the streets of Walsall town centre.
Police posted on X that the suspect attempted to evade capture but was caught by police with a 'large quantity of Class A drugs and knife'.
The post said: "Today, Team 3 have been deployed to Walsall Town Centre @WalsallPolice. Within an hour, officers have seen a male 'suspected' to be drug dealing.
"His attempts to escape were thwarted and he was arrested with a large quantity of Class A drugs and a knife #LifeOrKnife #StopSearch ."
