First look inside Peaky Blinders themed restaurant opening at Birmingham Airport

Shelby & Co will be ready to welcome customers at around 3am on Wednesday (December 18) in time for the first flights of the day.

The new eatery, which seats 290 people, is located near to Wetherspoon and opposite Starbucks in the airport's main departure lounge.

It is entirely Peaky Blinders themed - from the 1920s inspired decor right down to the menu.

Television screens playing clips from the programme can be spotted around the restaurant, while behind the scenes shots of Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy Shelby on the drama, adorn the walls.

Customers can browse a range of merchandise on sale at the eatery, including a flat cap for £30, branded t-shirt for £20, and Peaky Blinders cocktail book for £12.99.

For those looking to quench their thirst while waiting for their flight, a bar awaits selling locally made alcohol including Cotswolds Gin and Attic beer, which is brewed just eight miles away from the airport, as well as cocktails inspired by the programme such as the 'Birmingham Sour'.
