Four prisoners face trial for having drugs and phones with woman accused of throwing contraband over jail wall

Four hardened criminals are facing trial for possessing drugs and phones in HMP Brinsford along with a woman accused of throwing contraband over the prison wall.

Diego Anderson, 24, Divine Chukwudi, 22, Callum Bayley, 21 and Ashley Humphries, 24, are charged with possessing cannabis and mobile phones, which are banned items in HMP Brinsford, near Featherstone.

Sangeeta Nazran, 31, of St Christophers, Birmingham, is charged with throwing cannabis into HMP Brinsford on May 16, 2022, as well as transmitting or causing the transmission of a sound by electronic communications from inside HMP Brinsford and supplying cannabis. 

Delayni Woodcock, 23, of Brockworth Road, Druids Heath, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and a mobile phone in HMP Brinsford. Currently serving a ten-year-and-eight-months sentence for attacking a student with a machete in 2017, Woodcock will be sentenced in January.
