When major Black Country and Staffordshire shopping centres will be open over Christmas and New Year

Here's the Christmas opening times for the Mander Centre in Wolverhampton, McArthur Glen in Cannock, Merry Hill in Brierley Hill, New Square in West Bromwich and Ryemarket Shopping Centre in Stourbridge

The organised people among us may have got a head start on their Christmas shopping weeks ago - and perhaps have even begun wrapping their gifts.

But others are just getting started, while some fit in the more 'last minute' category and plan on getting everything they need on Christmas Eve.

If you still have people to buy for, or just fancy a mooch around the shops, don't fret - here's when some of the main shopping centres in the Black Country and Staffordshire will be open over the festive period:

Mander Centre - Wolverhampton

The Mander Centre in Wolverhampton city centre will be open at different times than usual over the festive period - though individual store opening hours may vary.

Its opening times over the Christmas and New Year period include:

  • Saturday, December 14: 9am to 7pm

  • Sunday, December 15: 10.30am to 4.30pm

  • Monday, December 16 - Saturday, December 21: 9am to 7pm

  • Sunday, December 22: 10.30am to 4.30pm

  • Monday, December 23: 9am to 7pm

  • Tuesday, December 24: 10am to 5pm

  • Wednesday, December 25 (Christmas Day): closed

  • Thursday, December 26: 10am to 5pm

  • Friday, December 27: 9am to 5.30pm

  • Saturday, December 28: 9am to 5.30pm

  • Sunday, December 29: 10.30am to 4.30pm

  • Monday, December 30: 9am to 5.30pm

  • Tuesday, December 31: 9am to 4pm

  • Wednesday, January 1 (New Years Day): closed

McArthur Glen - Cannock

McArthur Glen Designer Outlet West Midlands, in Cannock, has also made changes to its opening hours over the festive period.

They include:

  • Monday, December 23: 9am to 9pm

  • Tuesday, December 24: 9am to 5pm

  • Thursday, December 26: 8am to 9pm

  • Tuesday, December 31: 9am to 5pm

  • Wednesday, January 1 (New Years Day): 9am to 5pm

Merry Hill - Brierley Hill

Merry Hill shopping centre in Brierley Hill will have different operating hours to usual over Christmas and New Year.

It will however remain open every day apart from Christmas Day.

Between December 16 and December 22:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am to 10pm

  • Saturdays: 8am to 8pm

  • Sundays: 11am to 5pm as normal

Other dates:

  • Monday, December 23: 8am to 10pm

  • Tuesday, December 24: 8am to 5pm

  • Thursday, December 26: 8am to 6pm

  • Friday, December 27: 8am to 9pm

  • Saturday, December 28: 9am to 7pm

  • Sunday, December 29: 11am to 5pm

  • Monday, December 30: 9am to 9pm

  • Tuesday, December 31: 9am to 6pm

  • Wednesday, January 1: 11am to 5pm

New Square - West Bromwich

New Square shopping centre in West Bromwich has made changes to its opening hours over the festive period, though individual store times may differ.

It will be open during its normal operating hours except on the below dates:

  • Friday, December 20: 9am to 8pm

  • Saturday, December 21: 9am to 9pm

  • Monday, December 23: 9am to 9pm

  • Tuesday, December 24: 8am to 5pm

  • Christmas Day: closed

  • Thursday, December 26: 9am to 6pm

  • Monday, December 30: 9am to 8pm

  • Tuesday, December 31: 8am to 5pm

  • Wednesday, January 1 (New Years Day): 11am to 5pm

Ryemarket Shopping Centre - Stourbridge

Ryemarket Shopping Centre in Stourbridge has changed its hours to accommodate shoppers over the festive period, though some individual store hours may vary.

Its festive opening hours are: 

  • Tuesday, December 24: 8am to 6pm

  • Christmas Day: closed

  • Boxing Day: closed

  • Tuesday, December 31: 8am to 6pm

  • New Years Day: closed
