The membership sale was launched on Saturday despite the Steelmen's Midland Football League Division One home game against Paget Rangers being cancelled due to Storm Darragh.
Club vice chairman Jay Morgan says: "The launch was superb. About 50 people came in to sign up from across the age groups which was brilliant.
"We also sold some hats and scarves which was a bonus seeing that it's winter. Our local MP Pat McFadden spent about an hour with us.
