Boningale Homes plans to build the homes on the outskirts of Tibberton, near Newport, and has this week lodged a planning application with Telford & Wrekin Council.
A public meeting was held in the village during the summer and locals raised concerns over flooding and the traffic that the site would generate.
Planning agent Marrons on behalf of Boningale Homes told council planners that concerns about flooding, parking and traffic were raised at a public consultation event.
But they add that “suitable attenuation on-site addresses any potential flooding issues, and traffic modelling has been carried out to ensure the development would not generate significant harm to the highway network.”
