Bystanders tried to save a four-year-old boy's life after he was struck by a bus in Tipton.

Nothing could be done to save the child after he was hit by the vehicle on the town's High Street just before 5pm on Friday (December 6).
Ambulance crews rushed to the scene at 4.52pm and arrived to find bystanders performing CPR on the youngster, who was in a critical condition.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a critical care paramedic and MERIT (Medical Emergency Response Intervention Team) trauma medics attended the scene.
"Crews arrived to find bystanders performing CPR on a boy who was in a critical condition.
"Ambulance staff quickly commenced advanced life support at the scene but sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased on scene a short time later."
A bus driver who works for Diamond Bus is said to be "receiving support" after the fatal collision.
A spokeswoman for the regional bus operator said: "Our deepest thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the little boy following the devastating events of Friday evening. Our thoughts also extend to those who witnessed this tragic event.
"Our operations and accident investigations team are currently helping the police fully with their enquiries.
"The driver involved is receiving our support and we are grateful to the members of public who have also expressed concern for the driver's wellbeing at this difficult time.”
Tipton residents described their "shock" following the tragedy, including local florist Julie Jones who said it was "hard to find the words" to express how she felt.
In a statement released the day after the fatal crash, West Midlands Police appealed for anyone with information or those with dashcam footage to come forward.
