Teenager charged following double bus stabbing in Birmingham

Police have charged a teenager after a double stabbing on a bus in Birmingham earlier this week.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in connection with the incident that took place in Colebrook Road, Sparkhill

He has now been charged with attempted murder, wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today.

A 32-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were taken to hospital with injuries which are said to be not life-threatening.
