Emergency services attend serious crash in Tipton with road likely to be closed for hours
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a 'serious collision' on a busy Tipton road.
The collision is said to have occurred on High Street near Owen Road earlier this evening with the road being closed off.
Police have advised that the road is likely to be closed 'throughout the evening'.
People on social media have reported seeing 'at least fifteen' emergency vehicles at the scene.
Sandwell Police team announced on Facebook: "We're currently at the scene of a serious collision on High Street, Tipton. The road is expected to be closed throughout the evening. Please avoid the area as much as possible."
