Points failure on rail line between Wolverhampton and New Street causing delays to all services

All services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street are delayed this morning due to a points failure, which occurs when the equipment that allows trains to switch tracks isn't working properly, preventing signallers from setting the correct routes.
West Midlands Railway announced on social media that services are subject to delays, alteration or diversion via Bescot Stadium.
Tickets are currently in acceptance on metro and National Express West Midlands bus services.
