Man dies after car hits tree in Halesowen and road closed for more than 12 hours
A man has died after the car he was travelling in hit a tree in Halesowen.

Emergency services rushed to the scene of Manor Way at its junction with Hagley Road last night to reports of a 'serious incident' in the area.
Officers were called to the incident just before 8pm.
The driver of a black Renault Clio, a man aged 20, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police remained at the scene this morning while investigations continue and motorists were urged to find alternative routes.
Manor Way was closed overnight but the road block was lifted just before 10am today.
West Midlands Police said on X last night: "We are currently at the scene of a serious incident on Manor Way at its junction with Hagley Road in Halesowen.
"The road will be closed for several hours tonight and we would urge motorists to avoid the area."
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 7.38pm to Manor Way and sent an ambulance, a paramedic officer, MERIT trauma doctor, critical care paramedic and the trust’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, crews found one car had come off the road and collided with a tree.
“Sadly, it quickly became clear that the driver, a man, had sustained critical injuries and nothing could be done to save him.
“He was declared deceased at the scene.”
