Entertainment and alcohol licence submitted for former Conservative Club building

A banqueting suite in Blackheath has applied for a premises licence from Sandwell Council.

The former High Street Conservative Club has been transformed into Hilton Manor Banqueting Suite. 

An application has been submitted to Sandwell Council's planning department for an alcohol licence and permission to show films, theatre, live music and dance. 

The property was sold in January 2019 for £225,000 and is now worth £318,000.

Hamstead Law Practice submitted the application last week. The public notice said: "The proposed application is for plays, films, live music, recorded music and performances of dance.

"Monday to Sunday 10am to 1am, for late night refreshment (indoors) Monday to Sunday 11pm to 1am. The supply of alcohol (on/off premises) Monday to Sunday 10am to 1am."
