The male and female suspects were arrested on suspicion of theft from the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet on Friday (November 29) evening.

Staffordshire Police said the pair "didn't get far" thanks to staff members and security at the shopping site.

The outlet, off Eastern Way, is home to a number of designer shopping brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Coach and Kate Spade.
