Police appeal following theft from shop

Officers have issued CCTV images of three people they wish to talk to after around £515 worth of items were taken from a shop in Tamworth.

The incident took place in a B&M store on Ninian Way, Wilnecote on Saturday, October 12 and saw one of the men spit in the face of two people. 

The incident involved three people, two women and a man, who ran off down the car park towards Lidl and The Range.

All are believed to be under 25 years old. 

The man is said to have blond hair in a 'curtains' style and was wearing a blue puffer coat.

A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called to B&M on Ninian Way, Wilnecote, at 8.05pm on Saturday 12 October to reports that items worth £515 had been stolen and a man had spat in the face of two people.

"The incident involved three people – two women and a man – who ran off down the car park towards Lidl and The Range."
