Popular Lichfield pub reopens after extensive revamp
A popular city centre pub has officially reopened its doors after an extensive refurbishment with a host of new changes.

It's a new start for a Lichfield city centre pub after being given an extensive refurbishment.
The Bowling Green in Lichfield has welcomed back pub-goers back following almost three-weeks of work to transform the pub on the roundabout between the Friary and Friary Road and give it a brighter, more contemporary aesthetic.
Among the changes to the pub include a refreshed bar, new soft furnishings and a brand-new meeting room, while the Bowling Green’s function room is also being fully refurbished, with capacity to hold up to 80 people.
This space, as well as the new meeting room, are available to book and have TV and audio access.
The pub has updated its menu to include a wide range of new dishes, including BBQ Beef Rib Mac & Cheese, Signature Steak Pie, Fish Finger Sandwich and Ham & Cheese Melt and offers a fixed price menu with three courses available for £12.99 from 12pm to 5pm from Monday to Friday and £16.29 after 5pm from Monday to Friday.
There is also a fixed price Sunday lunch menu with up to three courses available, such as the classic pub roast, including sides of Cauliflower Cheese, Stuffing wrapped in Bacon and Yorkshire Puddings.
Other deals include Cask Club Monday and Thursday with £1 off all cask, two for £12.50 cocktails everyday after 5pm, four shots for £12, Fizz Fridays, Thursday steak night and Friday curry night.
Lily Enefer, general manager at the Bowling Green, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome guests, both familiar faces and new friends, to experience our pub’s new look, whilst keeping the cosy feel of the Bowling Green we all know and love.”
The Bowling Green will have live entertainment on the Saturday and Sunday of their opening weekend, as well as throughout the Christmas period, and also has a brand new Redtooth Poker night on Thursdays from 7pm.
