She’s wowed TV audiences across the country with her down to earth, friendly Black Country ways.

Now Sacha Jones, from Walsall, has lifted the lid on some of the behind the scenes action on the Channel 4 show Married at First Sight (MAFS).

The 29 year-old who owns a beauty salon in Lye has given an interview to OK magazine which she has posted on her Instagram page - just days after revealing her heartache after her TV marriage to Ross from Manchester is over.

The show sees single people getting married to someone they have never met, seeing them for the first time at the altar.

Behind the scenes at MAFS with Sacha Jones

‘I’m not sleeping with anyone’

Sacha, a pageant queen who is also a kickboxer and charity worker said: “I applied for the show, apparently it was one day before applications closed.

“I was abstinent, so I was like, I'm not sleeping with anyone until I meet my husband.”

Do the MAFS reality TV stars get to choose their honeymoon destination?

Sacha said: “We did not get to choose our honeymoon destination, but I did insist that if

I got a cold country, I would be really upset.”

How many people can MAFS reality TV stars invite to their wedding on the show?

Sasha said: “When we get married, we're told we have got a strict guest number of twelve, and you cannot go over that.

“So I definitely upset a few friends by not inviting them.”

What’s the food like at the MAFS dinner parties? And how long to couples spend on the couch during the commitment ceremonies?

Sasha said: “A lot of people ask me if the food at the dinner party is nice, and to be honest, not a lot of us eat it because we have our real meal, our actual meal, before the dinner party.

“At the commitment ceremonies, everybody gets about 45 min on the couch, depending on how many people are still in the experiment. It can take a lot longer though."
