Two people were taken to hospital for treatment after a two car collision on a road in Armitage.
The collision happened around 6.45am near the junction of Hood Land and New Road and saw two ambulances attend the scene and treat a man and woman who had been the drivers of the cars.
They were treated at the scene and while their injuries were believed to be serious, they were taken to County Hospital in Stafford for further treatment.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC near to the junction of Hood Lane and New Road at 6.45am, two ambulances attended the scene.
"On arrival, we discovered two patients, a man and a woman, who were the drivers of the cars.
"They were both treated for injuries not believed to be serious before being taken to County Hospital in Stafford."
Staffordshire Police have been contacted for a comment.
