It was a night of hard-hitting action as the best in British Wrestling brought more than 300 fans to their feet inside a Wolverhampton banqueting hall.

Burning Heart Pro Wrestling put on a seven match card full of big names at the Astoria in Wolverhampton city centre on Saturday night, with a battle for the tag team championships one of the highlights matches of the night.

It saw defending champions Robbie X and Zachary Wentz put their belts on the line against the Welsh team of Eddie Dennis and Mark Andrews, better known as FSU, with the Welshmen coming out on top and becoming the new champions.

Other big matches saw the Grizzled Young Veterans of James Drake and Zack Gibson defeat Kenny Williams & Rob Drake, while Harley Hudson was successful against Aleah James, Charlie Sterling won the four-way battle of the up and coming starts and Mark Haskins beat Leon Slater.

Elsewhere, Wolverhampton-born TNA star Trent Seven returned home to battle and beat Kid Lykos, while Kid Lykos II was more successful with a win against Joe Kessler.

It was the second time Burning Heart had come to the Astoria to put on a show and chief operating officer Lauren Klair said she felt the show had been a huge success, as well as thanking the fans for their great support.

She said: "Our second show at the Wolverhampton Astoria was an incredible success, drawing around 300 of Wolverhampton's finest wrestling fans.

"It is amazing to think that this was only our fourth show and that Burning Heart has only been running for less than six months considering the feedback and trust the fans have put in us already.

"We're so grateful to the wrestling fans of Wolverhampton for putting their faith in us yet again and we hope you'll come back for more".
