Police appeal after man pursued through Stourbridge park by motorcyclists who 'tried to grab him'

An appeal has been launched to help find two attempted robbery suspects after an incident involving motorcycles in Stourbridge.

West Midlands Police launched the appeal and released an image of two men today in connection with the incident on August 25.

A man who was riding a motorcycle in Stourbridge at around 2.30pm was pursued by two other bikes, with the pursuit heading towards Mary Stevens Park. The two motorcyclists allegedly attempted to grab him.

The force has asked for anyone who was in the area at the time and might remember seeing the riders to get in touch by calling 101 or on Live Chat on the West Midlands Police website.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Recognise these two?

"We're looking to speak to them after an attempted robbery in Stourbridge.

"At 2.30pm on August 25, a man was riding his motorcycle in the town when he was pursued by two other bikes.

"They followed him and rode towards Mary Stevens Park and attempted to grab him.

"If you were in the area at the time and remember seeing these riders, get in touch via 101 or Live Chat quoting crime number 20/784082/24."
