Man dies after ambulance crews called to 'medical emergency' in Wolverhampton

A man has died after ambulance crews were called to a medical emergency in Wolverhampton.

One ambulance and a paramedic officer rushed to the incident at the junction of Willenhall Road and Stowheath Lane in East Park on Tuesday (November 19) morning.

On arrival they discovered who was confirmed dead at the scene.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.26am to a medical emergency.

"...Upon arrival we found a man. Unfortunately it was clear that nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”

Blue police tape and police cars could be spotted outside St Joseph's Catholic Church on Stowheath Lane at around 9.15am.

The Express & Star has contacted West Midlands Police for comment.
