Woman checked over by ambulance staff after crash on M6 near Wolverhampton

A woman was check over by ambulance crews after a crash on the M6 near Wolverhampton.

The collision took place on the northbound carriageway, between Junction 10 for Walsall and Junction 10A near Wolverhampton, on Monday (November 18) evening.

Emergency services are said to be at the scene, with motorists warned of delays.

West Midlands Roads, which forms part of Transport for West Midlands, alerted drivers to major disruption on the motorway just before 7pm.

Writing to X, formerly Twitter, it said: "Road traffic collision, M6 northbound between J10 and J10A.

"Traffic currently held. Delays on the approach. Emergency services are on scene."

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said a woman was assessed by crews but was not injured.

A statement read: “A passing ambulance crew came across a two car road traffic collision on the M6 in Wolverhampton at 6.26pm. 

"Crews found one patient, a woman, who they assessed. She wasn’t injured so was discharged at the scene."
