West Midlands Police is investigating a double stabbing in West Bromwich.
The incident took place in Lindsey Road on Sunday evening. It is thought to have happened in a park area adjacent to the Coach and Horses public house at around 7pm.
WMP said their officers were called to reports of disorder in Kesteven Road at around 7.30pm.
The force said that two men received stab wounds after their car was stolen. The victims were taken to hospital with injuries.
Five teenagers - three aged 16, a 17-year-old, and an 18-year-old - have been arrested on suspicion of serious assault and robbery in connection with the stabbing.
Laura Cheesewright, who lives on Berkshire Close next to Lindsey Road said: "We heard what sounded like a woman screaming and came out of the house to see what was going on.
"We are elevated in this road so we could see a lot of police activity there and two ambulances were given an escort to the scene.
"I am not aware of any previous incidents occurring here though there are a lot of cars coming and going by us in the evening. I just hope everyone in this case is ok."
A message on the Coach and Horses Facebook page said: "We have been contacted by a number of people asking about a stabbing incident in that area.
"We can confirm it didn't happen on the premises but we believe it was in the adjacent park. Thoughts with all those concerned.
This morning the scene was quiet, although cutting scissors and a package used to contain sterile gloves were left at a play area in the park.
A couple walking their dog said they heard a commotion on Sunday night when they were at home in Lindsey Road.
The woman, who didn't want to be named said: "There is a lot of drug activity around here but we don't get involved and try to keep our distance. I don't remember any stabbings before but it wouldn't surprise me if this was related."
