Crash causes major disruption on M6 near Walsall

Motorists have been warned of major disruption on the M6 near Walsall due to a crash.

The collision took place on the northbound carriageway, between Junction 10 for Walsall and Junction 10A near Wolverhampton, on Monday (November 18) evening.

Emergency services are said to be at the scene, with drivers warned of delays.

West Midlands Roads, which forms part of Transport for West Midlands, alerted motorists to major disruption on the motorway just before 7pm.

Writing to X, formerly Twitter, it said: "Road traffic collision, M6 northbound between J10 and J10A.

"Traffic currently held. Delays on the approach. Emergency services are on scene."
