Metro services blocked into Wolverhampton city centre after car overturns
Metro passengers in Wolverhampton have been left facing delays after a car overturned and left the lines blocked.

The incident happened on Bilston Road and was reported at around 3pm, leaving metro services unable to travel into Wolverhampton city centre.
West Midlands Metro confirmed that services would only be operating between Priestfield and Edgbaston Village and passengers at the Royal, Pipers Row and Wolverhampton Station were left needing to find other travel arrangements.
The provider confirmed that tickets would be available on the 79 National Express West Midlands bus and on West Midlands Railway services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street.
A spokesman for West Midlands Metro said: "Due to an overturned car blocking the tracks on Bilston Road, trams are currently only operating between Priestfield and the Edgbaston Village.
"There is no service in operation between the Wolverhampton Station and Priestfield.
"Tickets accepted on NX West Midlands 79 bus and West Midlands Railway between Wolverhampton Station and New Street Station."
It was later confirmed that road signals on Bilston Road had been damaged, with services unable to run into Wolverhampton until Thursday.
A spokesman for West Midlands Metro said: "During the road traffic collision, the signals on the Bilston Road have been damaged.
"Trams will be unable to run between Priestfield and Wolverhampton till the end of service this evening.
"Trams are still operating as normal between Priestfield and Edgbaston Village.
"Please be assured that if anything changes we will update accordingly."
