Man charged after officers discover cocaine stashed in sock in Staffordshire
A man has been charged after officers found cocaine inside a sock during a vehicle stop-and-search in Tamworth.

Arben Qema, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine), driving other than in accordance with a licence and driving without third-party insurance.
The charge comes after officers stopped a grey Mazda 2 on Marlborough Way, Wilencote, just after 3.30pm on Wednesday and found cocaine stashed inside of a sock in the vehicle.
Quema appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on November 8, where was remanded into custody to appear at Stafford Crown Court on December 6.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "Arben Qema, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (cocaine), driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without third-party insurance.
"It comes after officers stopped a grey Mazda 2 on Marlborough Way, Wilnecote, just after 3.30pm on Wednesday (6 November) and found cocaine inside the vehicle."
