Two arrests after drugs discovered in car following police stop in Wolverhampton

Two people were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing after the car they were in was found to have Class A drugs inside.

The blue Citroen was stopped by police in Wolverhampton on Tuesday morning, who used tactics to avoid a pursuit after the same car had failed to stop for officers on Monday.

A search of the car uncovered a large amount of class A drugs, which led to the two occupants of the car being arrested for dealing and the car seized.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "Road Crime Team officers stopped this car in Wolverhampton using tactics to avoid a pursuit after it failed to stop for local officers the day before.
